Michael Meacham

Educational and Athletic Background:

• Westwood High School (Mesa, AZ): Three year varsity player, Aspire Volleyball Club, 3 year participant, 3rd place Nationals, 5th place Nationals
• Grand View University: Currently on men’s team, 2-time NAIA National Championship member - 2021, 2022, Nursing and Spanish major

Coaching Background:

• Aspire Volleyball Club: 2019 - 14’s team coach
• Iowa PowerPlex, 2021 - present

About Michael:

Michael played for 3 years on varsity during high school. He also played club at Aspire Volleyball club for 3 years. Two of those years his team qualified for Nationals and ended up placing 3rd his senior year, and 5th his junior year. MIchael continued his playing career at Grand View University where he is still actively playing. He was a part of the two-time national championship team in 2021 and 2022 for the Vikings. 

Michael previously coached at Aspire Volleyball club in Tempe for one year before moving to Des Moines. He has been with Iowa PowerPlex since 2021 helping with summer camps, positional training, the CIVL league and private lessons.
