Hannah Goodwin

Educational and Athletic Background:

  • Roosevelt High School: 4 year varsity starter playing middle and outside, ran track - qualified for Drake Relays, State and Jim Duncan, Multiple all-conference selections
  • IPVA Club Player: Qualified for nationals 3 years
  • Graceland University: Exercise Physiology with minors in Biology and Spanish, 3 year volleyball participant, 3 year track participant, Qualified for nationals twice

About Hannah:

Hannah was a 4-year varsity starter at Des Moines Roosevelt, playing middle and outside. She also ran track at Roosevelt, achieving a multitude of wins and appearances at Drake Relays, State, and Jim Duncan. Hannah was a 4-time varsity letter winner in both volleyball and track, and multiple all-conference selections, alongside lettering in show choir during her time as a Roughrider. She played middle for during her club years, making three national appearances during her 6 years playing at IPVA. 

Hannah continued her playing career at Graceland University for 3 years. She also ran track at Graceland, qualifying for indoor nationals twice in the 60m hurdles. Hannah had to opt out her senior year in both sports due to an injury. But this led her to start coaching in 2017. Hannah coached at IPVA, having one of her teams getting 3rd at MLK, and another getting 3rd at non-qualifying regionals during her tenure. She has coached indoor and outdoor for all ages, including at the collegiate level.
