This is Emily’s first year as a Powerplex Volleyball Coach. Although, she was a player at Powerplex from 8th grade to senior year in high school. Emily played varsity volleyball at Waukee for three years. Her junior year she led the state in digs, while senior year she was awarded 2nd Team All-Conference. She also holds the record for digs in a career at Waukee High School. Emily continued to play volleyball at the intramural level at the University of Northern Iowa, while graduating with a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education. Emily has enjoyed helping and coaching at many camps the last couple of summers, and is excited to coach her own team this season!
