Devan is originally from Milford, Iowa and graduated from Okoboji High School where she was a three-year letter winner in volleyball, a four year letter winner in track and dance, and a one year letter winner in swim team. She began playing volleyball when she was 11-years-old and played AAU through middle school and freshman year of high school. Devan continued to play at the intramural level her freshman year at Colorado State University-Pueblo, and played at the University of Iowa noncompetitively. She graduated from the University of Iowa with a degree in Interdepartmental Studies and a minor in Social Work and is currently works at Prelude Behavioral Services as a substance abuse counselor. Devan currently plays beach volleyball leagues in the metro area. Devan is excited to be a part of the PowerPlex team and eager to see what this season brings.
